[APH] Project Canada: The Canadian Flag

It’s finally done! I’m sorry for the delays (moving to BC, sick cast, editing problems, subtitles, grad school, etc) BUT IT’S FINALLY HERE!

Enjoy! A big round of applause for everyone who helped me bring it to completion!!

Um, I can't watch it because I have Restricted Mode set on my YouTube. Is there any bad words in the video, because I think that's why it's blocking it?

@ Mkaniamlover - So why does it still block it even though it's censored?

I don't know how restricted mode works or what it's picking up on. I know youtube did misunderstand a lot of lines in the automatic subtitles and did sometimes mistake 'flag' for another four letter word etc, but those subtitles shouldn't be published. The only thing in there remotely close to questionable content is a censor beep.

EDIT: I have gone and made sure the automatic subtitles are unpublished, try it now and see if that's what was wrong

@ Mkaniamlover - Yeah, I know. I think 95% of the time they are wrong and sometimes nonsensical or even rude, unrelated stuff comes up - like once I was watching an episode of Theodore Tugboat (did any of you watch that show as kids?) and Theodore and his friends had to move a boat out of a narrow gap (or something). Instead of 'let's get this ship moving', the subtitles said 'let's get this s*** moving' (I'm a good person so I obviously blank out any bad words in writing). And remember this was a KIDS' show I was watching. What if some kids were watching this video and they saw that come up? It wouldn't be good for their little minds. :(

*10 MINUTES LATER*

Alright, I managed to watch the video! Pretty interesting history lesson I got there. I didn't see much of the provinces, except for that bit where they were asked about the 'new' red-and-white maple leaf flag. Is the first one supposed to be Nova Scotia? I didn't recognize him without his hat and lobster shirt, although he had freckles and it was supposed to be set in Halifax, so it might be him.

Looking forward to the next episode as usual - it'll be the hockey one, right? I know that's been in production for quite some time.

How do you make your own subtitles for YouTube videos, since the automatic ones are really inaccurate?

You can either enter all the text and set automatic timings (which youtube gets mostly right and you can adjust them yourself) or you can transcribe it line by line.

@ Hapo - I think you can also type subtitles into Notepad or WordPad (you have to save it as an SRT file rather than the normal TXT format).
